Carmel
Hello flower series is inspired by my sweet English friend, Stacey-as, “Hello Flower” is how she greets me every single time she sees me-it always warms the cockles of my heart! I LOVE flowers! I wear them in my hair, have a bouquet on my kitchen table every week from my amazing husband and draw them every chance I get!
When I dreamed up this printable concept, I envisioned my artwork traveling all over the world.
SO…
Meet Carmel
Carmel is Geoff’s Auntie, she is also my mother in law Eileen’s best friend. She is love personified. Carmel and Eileen came to America from England and proceeded to explore the United States armed with their adventurous spirit and natural curiousity.
The Carmel art printable is full of pomegranates-a beautiful fruit and also a symbol of a sweet life during the Jewish high holy days of Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur-September 7-September 16 respectively. Carmel was super kind and generous to me, a Catholic girl who wanted desperately to impress her Jewish father in law by preparing my very first Passover meal, Carmel kindly walked me through , including floating Matzo balls. Carmel is a proud Jewish woman, and we love her immensely!

Enjoy!
