Kathleen Caughlin
Hello flower series is inspired by my sweet English friend, Stacey-as, “Hello Flower” is how she greets me every single time she sees me-it always warms the cockles of my heart! I LOVE flowers! I wear them in my hair, have a bouquet on my kitchen table every week from my amazing husband and draw them every chance I get!
When I dreamed up this printable concept, I envisioned my artwork traveling all over the world.
SO…
Kathleen Caughlin was my great Aunt, my Gram’s (Anna T) sister. Lovingly known to every family member as simply, Auntie. She was beloved by all of us. She was quite petite as was Gram. But appearances are often deceiving-although she appeared demure, Auntie was staunchly independent and capable. She and my Gram built a house together-ironically, my parents live next door to that very home.
As you can see by her last name, she was a 100% Irish, both of her parent’s family’s decended from Ireland. A proud Irish Catholic, she was a woman of tremendous faith.
Bells of Ireland are a favorite flower of mine, they remind me of my Gram and my Auntie, strong and beautiful, a fitting tribute.
Every piece of artwork on this website is original. I have drawn them all with a pencil and paper. This art printable is for your personal use only.
