Tricia
Hello flower series is inspired by my sweet English friend, Stacey-as, “Hello Flower” is how she greets me every single time she sees me-it always warms the cockles of my heart! I LOVE flowers! I wear them in my hair, have a bouquet on my kitchen table every week from my amazing husband and draw them every chance I get!
When I dreamed up this printable concept, I envisioned my artwork traveling all over the world.

I am proud to introduce you to Tricia. Tricia was the amazing mother of one of my dearest friends, Christa. Tricia was an avid seamstress and quilter, with an imagination that was second to none! I was lucky enough to forge my own little relationship with her, she and I shared a love of bluegrass and folk music, being a maker, vintage linens, and Christa, of course! Tricia adored her family and was the biggest supporter of each and everyone of them and their endeavours. Although she hailed from Missouri she loved the Arizona desert and all it’s beauty. So in honour of her, I drew a nod to prickly pear slimline and barrel cactus flowers.
P.S. she did let her light shine
