Hello Flower series is inspired by my sweet English friend, Stacey-as, “Hello Flower” is how she greets me every single time she sees me-it always warms the cockles of my heart! I LOVE flowers! I wear them in my hair, have a bouquet on my kitchen table every week from my amazing husband and draw them every chance I get!
When I dreamed up this printable concept, I envisioned my artwork traveling all over the world.

Meet my Aunt Joyce, aka Joyce McCoy. Since I hail from such a big family, there are lots of duplicate names-so I needed to get creative in naming their art printable.
My Aunt Joyce lived so much of her life on the shores of the Saint Mary’s river, on Sugar Island. I loved visiting her home so much, throughout my entire life. She had this perfect view of Canada from her dining room window, I can’t remember how many times I sat there and daydreamed. As a child her home was always full of kids, SO many cousins, always welcome, always someone to play with, always something yummy to eat and always lots of love. As I got older, I loved sitting and listening to her tell family stories, so, I would make sure I got an Aunt Joyce visit in while I was back home, so I could get my fill of those stories. She had the most remarkable memory! I have told you that I come from a great big Catholic family, 73 first cousins! Well, my Aunt Joyce was actually my great aunt, and still she knew all of the cousins that were born in anyone’s given birth year-amazing! My cousin Susie, her oldest daughter once told me that her mom was an amazing journal keeper and inspired her to do the same. I just love that! Keep that family story telling alive! I miss her incredibly, but carry her in my heart always.
