Hello flower series is inspired by my sweet English friend, Stacey-as “Hello Flower” is how she greets me every single time she sees me-it always warms the cockles of my heart! I LOVE flowers! I wear them in my hair, have a bouquet on my kitchen table every week from my amazing husband and draw them every chance I get!

Patricia was my Aunt Dee Dee-Patricia Delores. Every autumn we traveled as a family down to the her family’s farm for hunting season-hence the autumnal theme. I loved being at Aunt Dee Dee’s great big farmhouse, filled with countless cousins, activity, and those crocheted doilies with starched ripples! Aunt Dee Dee had the most infectious and distinctive laugh! My memories of her are of my radiantly beautiful aunt effortlessly whipping up a tremendous meal for a houseful, making up silly songs on the piano, and the kindest brown eyes. I miss her tremendously, but carry her in my heart always.
